This women's chainsaw safety course is designed for women who have attended an introductory chainsaw safety training, and/or have extensive experience running a chainsaw for tasks short of tree felling. This workshop will take place at the Lakes Environmental Association's Highland Research Forest in Bridgton, Maine. Plan for a full day each on Saturday and Sunday (8:00-4:00). Participants must bring a working chainsaw and proper personal protective equipment (PPE). The agenda will be tailored to participants' needs and will include an introduction to directional felling.

Women, trans, and non-binary folks are welcome.
