Join Guild members, students, and partners as we visit Collins Almanor Forest, W.M. Beaty & Assoc. managed forests, and Lassen and Plumas National Forest Service lands. This is California's second Guild Gathering of the year and it is packed full of topics and discussions sure to inspire and intrigue you!

Topics will include multi-age prescriptions for thinning, regenerating, and burning. We will discuss the use of maximum SDI for guiding the timing of thinning re-entry periods, appropriate basal area retention, and species mix in relation to impacts brought on by more severe weather cycles affected by climate change. You won’t want to miss the meaningful discussions, good food, and great comradery at this Guild Gathering, so save the date and watch for registration to open soon. You don’t need to be a Guild member to participate.
