Forest Stewards Guild Board Welcomes Tina Hall

The Board of Directors of the Forest Stewards Guild is pleased to welcome Tina Hall, Director of Land Protection for The Nature Conservancy's Michigan Chapter, to its membership. Tina directs land protection, forestry, and stewardship, including carbon market outreach, forest certification, and land protection projects. She has been with The Nature Conservancy since 1989 and has worked in California, West Virginia, and Michigan.

Tina oversees the management of The Nature Conservancy's 24,000-acre Two Hearted River Forest Reserve, a managed forest in the heart of a priority landscape of diverse aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. The Two Hearted River Forest Reserve became a Guild Model Forest in 2016 and is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Tina has worked with the Guild on drafting guidelines for working forest conservation easements, and she is looking forward to helping to advance the Guild's Model Forest Program.

Please join the Board of Directors in welcoming Tina Hall!
