Title: NorthWoods Field Coordinator
Term: May 1- September 1 (approx.)
Hours: generally 40 hours/week
Reports to: NorthWoods Trails/Conservation Director; coordinates with other staff, as needed
The NorthWoods Field Coordinator will work with local, state, and federal partners to develop and implement priority resource conservation projects in northern Vermont and select National Wildlife Refuge units throughout the region. The coordinator will provide training, supervision, and logistical support to NorthWoods Conservation Corps crews. Crews will complete a variety of wildlife management practices; trail construction, maintenance, and restoration work; and conservation service projects. Will coordinate activities with program Directors, AmeriCorps staff, and seasonal Watershed Coordinator as well as appropriate project sponsor and agency staff.
